Blemish Removal Tutorial

We all hate those stubborn pimples that pop out at inopportune moments, especially those that appear right before you get your picture taken. This tutorial shows you how to remove pimples, blemishes, and other unwanted imperfections from your photo using Citrify.

As you can see in this photo, the subject has a few pimples and blemishes that are prominent, especially those on the neck, on the left check and on the forehead. These spots can be easily removed, as can other darker spots, such as freckles and moles.

Step 1: Choose zoom percentage from "Zoom Menu"
**Tip: I find that zooming to the maximum percentage on the photo is the best way to go, as it can easily allow you to find and highlight all imperfections you wish to correct.

Step 2: Go to "Touch-up Menu," and select the "Blemish" tool

Step 3: Find a blemish you would like to correct

Step 4: Select brush size
**Tip: I find that smaller is better in correcting blemishes. Choose a brush size that is slightly larger than the blemish (with its “crosshairs’ touching the edges of the blemish) for best results.

Step 5: Select the area you wish to touch-up, and remove the blemish
**Tip: I find that occasionally certain darker spots may not disappear entirely with one click. If this is the case, try a few more clicks, or, position the cursor slightly outside the blemish, and work your way around.
As you can see, removing blemishes and unwanted marks from your face is easy and quick. The “Blemish” tool can not only remove pimples, but, if you wish, darker spots such as moles.
